Celebrating another 2nd Birthday!!!

Well we now have 1 more 2 year old! It was Ayla's Birthday on Friday. We celebrated with Popsicle's  for our afternoon snack which all of the Baby Bears enjoyed very much! We gave birthday hugs to all our friends, We sang Happy Birthday during story time and which she was so shy during. And we even got to paint with water color paints! Quite an exciting day for a 2 year old!!!

Green Foam Paint=Little Green Monsters!!!

I don't usually do a messy activity like painting in the afternoon, but I thought I'd switch it up with today. I think were going to stick with messy fun in the morning rather than the afternoon. They were so messy! Green foam paint everywhere! Everyone thought they needed their belly's painted! Some even got a little sponge bath!

 This morning we used bingo dabbers which the Baby Bears love, and a great fine motor gripping too! Then we traced their hands, I'm not great at tracing but it's a working progress! Thanks to Annabelle's mom who gave me this idea via Pinterest!!!

Working on our Fine Motor Skills!!!

This week we have been doing Fall activites. Today we tore up Red, Orange, Yellow and Brown construction paper into  tiny little pieces. Some of the Baby Bears were pretty good at it. Then we glued them to a piece of artwork!

For almost a half and hour we played with play-doh! We worked on rolling it, pinching it and tearing it apart. They had so much fun!

Crock Pot Italian Chicken

Crock Pot Italian Chicken was so easy to make and so good!

I just used 1 pound chicken breasts, 1 jar of banana pepper rings and 1 packet of Italian seasoning. I dumped it all in and let it cook on high for 4 hours. I served it with brown rice and mushrooms.

Apple Fun!!!

Today we finished up our Apple theme today. We used red bingo dabbers to create our apple cutouts, we finger painted with apple sauce and even got to taste apples!

I can't believe September is almost over!!! I feel like I just planned out September themes!

We love Apples and cupcakes!!!

This week our theme was Apples. The Baby Bears loved my apple chips I brought in earlier this week for a afternoon snack. We made apple hand prints and finger painted apples. Tomorrow we will get to finger paint with applesauce and make finger print apples. We've talked a lot about the color Red this week! Tomorrow we will count our apples and get to have a slice of apple to eat for mid morning snack. Lots more of our apple pictures to come, but here's a preview of today!!!

Today was Kaci's 2nd Birthday. We sang her Happy Birthday during our circle time today, wore birthday hats, took her birthday picture, played with balloons and ate yummy birthday cupcakes. I say she had a pretty good day!!!

Just a rainy day in the toddler room!!!

The Baby Bears just love water! When it was pouring rain outside I decided to have water play inside! I had four different water tubs with different items in them.

I bought a package at a garage sale that had a bunch of different little bath toys in it. I also had a tub with water and paint brushes so we could paint the table. We had some fishes and ducks in one table. And the most favorite one of all was sponges, wash cloth's and plate, bowls, spoons, cups! We love to wash the dishes!!! Great little helpers too!

         Just blew up the balloons tonight after work, getting ready for Kaci's 2nd Birthday Party tomorrow!!!
