Itsy Bitsy Spider...

October Theme's were fun to plan, but can be difficult at times. This week we did Spiders. Miss Molly was not a fan of what I had planned. We have done leaves in the sensory table with little spiders, Torn pieces of paper and spiders and even wet string and giant spiders. Lets just say even though they were fake she wanted nothing to do with them!!!

Some of the kids enjoyed playing with the string and spiders and some of them wanted nothing to do with it!

What! Another 2 year old Birthday!!!

Our Little Lila turned 2 today! We celebrated with frosted sugar cookies for our afternoon snack which all of the Baby Bears loved!!! We gave them noise makers,We sang Happy Birthday during story time in which she was so excited during. We weren't' crazy about our Birthday hat, but we got a few good pictures out of it! The best part of Lila's day was we had a sidewalk chalk party for the little artist! She liked collecting all six pieces of chalk the best!

Celebrating another 2nd Birthday!!!

Well we now have 1 more 2 year old! It was Ayla's Birthday on Friday. We celebrated with Popsicle's  for our afternoon snack which all of the Baby Bears enjoyed very much! We gave birthday hugs to all our friends, We sang Happy Birthday during story time and which she was so shy during. And we even got to paint with water color paints! Quite an exciting day for a 2 year old!!!

Green Foam Paint=Little Green Monsters!!!

I don't usually do a messy activity like painting in the afternoon, but I thought I'd switch it up with today. I think were going to stick with messy fun in the morning rather than the afternoon. They were so messy! Green foam paint everywhere! Everyone thought they needed their belly's painted! Some even got a little sponge bath!

 This morning we used bingo dabbers which the Baby Bears love, and a great fine motor gripping too! Then we traced their hands, I'm not great at tracing but it's a working progress! Thanks to Annabelle's mom who gave me this idea via Pinterest!!!

Working on our Fine Motor Skills!!!

This week we have been doing Fall activites. Today we tore up Red, Orange, Yellow and Brown construction paper into  tiny little pieces. Some of the Baby Bears were pretty good at it. Then we glued them to a piece of artwork!

For almost a half and hour we played with play-doh! We worked on rolling it, pinching it and tearing it apart. They had so much fun!

Crock Pot Italian Chicken

Crock Pot Italian Chicken was so easy to make and so good!

I just used 1 pound chicken breasts, 1 jar of banana pepper rings and 1 packet of Italian seasoning. I dumped it all in and let it cook on high for 4 hours. I served it with brown rice and mushrooms.

Apple Fun!!!

Today we finished up our Apple theme today. We used red bingo dabbers to create our apple cutouts, we finger painted with apple sauce and even got to taste apples!

I can't believe September is almost over!!! I feel like I just planned out September themes!
