Happy 2014!!!

It's been a great 2013, looking forward to 2014. It will be a fun and busy year I'm sure. Looking forward to my little sister getting married in June, hopefully finding my special one this year! And many more fun and exciting activities planned for the toddler room!!!

Well I rearranged the toddler room tonight. The kids always do better every time I switch it out. I switched out our Christmas books and replaced them with winter books, put some new toys in there also.

Messy Play!!!

Today, for some odd known reason the baby bears toddler room lights were not working today. So we got to hang out in the little lambs infant room. We still had fun though, we got to take turns going to the toddler room to paint!

They really enjoyed playing with all their old toys. And a few of them also slept in the cribs, but the others knew better and were not having it, so we just put their mattress's on the ground and they went to sleep instead. Still fought us though!

It is funny, now that they are older they climb up onto the rocking chairs to read books, tried several times to climb up the sides of the cribs. And were just plain climbers today. Really makes you watch where you baby gate certain areas of play.

We decided to take them out into the snow to play at the end of the day. Today, it took us 40 minutes to get ready we had a lot of runny noses and crying about our snow pants today. But after we got outside, I couldn't get them to come back inside at the end of the day!

I'm sure some of you notice that your child doesn't have on the right snow hats or mittens. I am sorry, they start off with them on, but after putting them on five or six times in less than 10 minutes. All you care about is just putting something on them. But please do label them so we know, sometimes it's hard for new teacher helpers to know which is which. Thanks!

I also just want to say, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Thank you for thinking of me during the Christmas season. I love all the gifts, some were very thoughtful. How did some of you know I liked Owls, Coffee and Chocolate! :)

It's the season of giving!

Well it took one whole day, but I managed to finish the Baby Bears Christmas ornaments. They turned out really nice and I was happy to give them out to the parents!

So I adopted a family of three boys for Christmas this year, I was so excited to go shopping for them. I bought mainly educational toys, books and clothing along with a Christmas Eve box I created from Pinterest. Today I get to go deliver them. I'm nervous but excited. I hope that they have a very Merry Christmas!

All and All, I have about fifty presents!

So this week we did a ton of art and crafts, but I didn't take pictures because I ended up being sick for two whole days. I was fine on Thursday afternoon then all of the sudden I felt like I was going to pass out and actually ended up throwing up. I feel better, I just have a terrible headache and spills of dizziness. So the pictures will just have to wait till the next post!

We did however get to taste Candy Canes. Surprisingly the toddlers love peppermint. Who would have known! It was a very sticky mess but they seemed to enjoy it!

We still love to finger paint with sleepy time lotion and then paint our bellies with it!

Snow days!

Although, today it only took us 30 minutes with criers, undressing ones and naughty ones. We managed to get outside and play in the snow. Once everyone was bundled up they were much happier playing in the snow.

By the end of the night, I can finally tolerate this loud spinning toy track. So I let the boys spin their animals on it. They loved it, and it was fun watching them play with it!

I brought in Gingerbread cookies today to let them taste it, it was fun watching who liked it and who didn't.
