We were supposed to have our water day on Wednesday. This morning we took one step outside to play on our playground and I knew sure enough we had to have a water day with the 2's. Please bring a stack of swim diapers to store in your child's cubby because you never know when we might go out and enjoy some splashing fun!
I decided to add some extra fun to our swimming pools by adding a slide to slide down into the water. Who knew they absolutely loved that, they are training for the water parks someday!
Miss Beth made these adorable fish yesterday during art time with the toddlers!
The snow cone truck visited the toddlers yesterday!!! What better way to enjoy the flavored ice stipped down to their diapers enjoying the hot weather!
We Baby Bears love listening to Dr. Jean Songs, we have the Bible version of all the songs that we sing during our morning bible time with Miss Nancy. We did not get to go to Bible today, because I wanted to get them outside to enjoy some of it before it got to hot. Well apparently we should have gone, I look over to see all the chairs lined up and our toddlers imitating the songs! I'm quite proud of my bunch, even if they can't sit still through Bible time they are still listening to what's going on!
This afternoon we worked on ripping paper up so we could glue it down with our paint brushes. Everyone got a little cup with glue so they could paint their papers. Then we put the ripped pieces on top of the glue and let them pat them down. Some of the toddlers were getting frustrated by the paper getting stuck to their hands.
Apparently, Lola was very popular today!!!
Busy days makes for sleepy tots!!! We had to wake almost all of them up today!
