Easter egg hunt with the 2 year old's!

Friday was fun, we got out our soft climbers in the classroom to play on since we haven't done that in awhile. As you can see they had a lot of fun. I gasped in a few of the clips because I didn't realize I had so many little monkeys in my class!

In the afternoon I found Easter eggs at the dollar tree, inside of them it was like silly putty slime. I let the baby bears explore with their eggs on the table. They were really fascinated with it!

Easter Fun!

So for Easter this month, I have gotten out the Easter sensory table twice a day in which they all love so much, that the grass gets in every little corner of the room. I filled the Easter eggs with either little toys, pom-pom's and a few jelly beans. Tomorrow we will have a Easter egg hunt in our classroom. The sensory table also includes the toddlers to touch the grass with their shoes and socks off, some of them didn't like that too much!

Busy Weekend!

Jill's Bridal Shower was a great turnout. We had fun with family and friends and she was very thankful for all her gifts, especially my cookbook I had made her which was a total surprise! Things are becoming more real for the wedding and now I really need to start by writing my speech. No more fooling around, gotta get busy!

On Friday, the toddlers made it through their first 15 minute movie day. We dressed in jammies and had a snack on the rug and watched a short YouTube clip of  Baby Einstein Animals. As you can see they were practically glued to that computer. They made all the sounds to five different animals that were shown. I"m thinking of doing this twice a month, and maybe next time on Farm Animals.

When I worked with the babies it was so easy trying to get a really good picture of them with head props now that these little guys are s little older they move too quick or take them off before I can get a good snap. However they are too darn cute not to post!

Even Maggie had to get her picture at the bridal shower, unfortunately she couldn't control her barking so she had to spend the day at my Grandma's place with my dad. Sorry Maggie, we did save you a hat! :)

Wiggly Worms!

Miss Molly brought in worms for our Spring activity we've been doing this month. We placed the worms on a cookie sheet. Each child got to hold a worm in their hands. Some loved them, and others did not want anything to do with them.

This afternoon we all painted together at the table, we practiced holding our paint brushes and dipping them into the paint.

We love to scribble!

I had a good birthday celebration yesterday, thanks to all that got me a little sometime! I sure appreciated it and was very kind to think of me. This is the party that I came into yesterday morning. I think there was 30 balloons I just know there was so many I didn't know what to do with them!

My parents had delivered 30 red roses to me at work yesterday. So sweet of them! And my roommate also bought me flowers, I was quite spoiled!

We scribbled with crayons and markers yesterday. The markers were a huge hit, as you can see most of them did very well on their papers. Hannah had fun with her blue pastel crayon!
