I love using lotion to finger paint with. It's such an easy cleanup, and none of them try and eat it. I even encouraged the toddlers to rub lotion on others backs. I know I"m making trouble for myself later down the road when we do pudding painting. But I think that they look so cute doing it, and they have a lot of fun!
After our calming lotion massages, we decided to have story time. I placed all the chairs near our cozy corner. I think I'll keep doing this, they really did good sitting in their chairs reading their books as I read along!
And then the blizzard started rolling in...
