Painting with cars!!

We did a group painting today. We drove the toy cars in green paint, we went through lots of paper. They had so much fun, they actually did this for 30 minutes!!!

Clean up time was fun too. We took them to the bathroom to wash hands, because they were running each way in the room. They thought that was pretty fun, of course Mason and Lola did not like it, they just sat down and waited for us to clean up the others.

So of course we have to get ready for March pictures which meant the toddlers had to pose in hats!

Oodles of Fun!!!

Cheap Sensory Play! I went out and bought spaghetti noodles at the Dollar Tree last night. I boiled them, drained them and added green food coloring to them. Rinsed them off in cold water.

Put paint shirts on all the toddlers, just in case it came through on their clothing. We of course had to take a picture!

Babies and Toddlers are so cute when they are sleeping. I love how they have such different poses!

 

 

Active Play!!!

 Can't believe it's almost March, where did February go? We have a new teacher in our room. Her name is also Molly. The toddlers are pretty confused now when I ask them who Molly is, or go give this to molly. They look for the other Miss Molly.

She is really doing great working in the toddler room. The kids love her interacting with them!

Since this week has been so cold, we are unable to go outside. We've brought snow inside to play with this week, but for now we've been playing on our soft climbers in the classroom. Which they still love!

The Baby Bears really love painting with bingo dabbers. And do a really good job of holding onto them and dabbing their papers. Again no one tried eating them today. Good Job! We are progressing!

Since they were a little too creative, some of it got on the table during art time, so they were good helpers and washed the table, including the chairs!

This afternoon we got a little crazy with the streamers. They loved wrapping each other in them. I might have helped just a little!

Silly And Fun Friday!!!

Well since we finger painted with pudding yesterday, and they didn't get as messy as I had thought they would. I let them finger paint together today. They loved it and did a really good job at sitting in their chairs!

As soon as I said "Should we paint?" They ran over and sat down on the rug. I might have them trained a little that they need to wait for Becky to get the stuff ready on the tables. They sometimes get to excited and start touching everything before it's ready, making messes etc!

So after we finger painted, it was time to paint with our feet. They weren't quite sure about that!

 

 

As you can see some of them enjoyed it, and others weren't sure if they were supposed to like it or not!

  

 Since the toddlers were already busy and active, I thought it would be a great time to introduce the bubble wrap to them. We did happy feet and follow the leader. They really enjoyed popping it!

 

 Then this afternoon, the toddlers were all about touch and feel sensory cards, which they love to put in their box's and we count how many cards they have. It's also fun watching which toddler likes what card. They all have their favorites! Oh, and books, I think I read every book that was in that bookshelf today!
