Our Little Firecrackers!

 

 
Every holiday I enjoy dressing up my toddlers in either fun costumes or hats. This year I found some cute hats at the Dollar Tree. They all smiled right on the first picture and now fight over who gets to sit on the chair first. In the end they get a handful of cheerio's!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Celebrating a 2 year old birthday!

 

I hope you had a great birthday Theo, we had fun celebrating with you today. I try and make birthdays a big deal even if it's only for being 2 years old. The bonus is you get lots and lots of pictures!

 

 

When it's your birthday at Bible time you get to stand on a chair and we all sing happy birthday as a group to you. It was a big deal, and even bigger deal because Theo wore his birthday hat! He was so proud of himself!

 

 

A fun activity Theo loves to do is stickers. So I bought some easy bubble stickers to peel from and place on our stickers. Stickers are really fun right now because most of them are able to do it and they really focus when doing this activity.

 

 

Theo had a lot fun opening up his birthday presents today!

 

 

 

 

 

 

James stopped in from his vacation to visit us today, thanks buddy for showing us how to use our bop balloons! They all enjoyed playing with them this afternoon while it rained outside.

Water Babies!

 

 

Tuesdays will now become our swim days. The Baby Bears love water, and love getting me wet upon many splashes and lots of giggles!

 

 

The downfall of water days is it makes them so sleepy that they start melting as soon as we enter into the classroom. We placed all of them in one corner of the room to contain all the crying and tantrums. Thankfully the only thing that makes the crying stop is me playing classical music.

 

 

 

Art and Sensory today, they love when I paint their hands...

 

 

 

In your child's cubby you will find a goodbye letter from Miss Abbie. She is leaving us and is  going back to her hometown to live and work. We will miss her dearly, she is a great friend and I know I will miss working with such a hardworking teacher. I am in the process of making her a DVD of pictures of the kiddo's. Please also send me your emails so I can to send you a copy as well.

Cool as a cucumber!

 

We took some fun pictures outside today with some sunglasses on. They loved playing outside today and loved all that extra attention when we took our fun photos too. If you haven't gotten your picture off the door yet be sure to take it home for Father's Day weekend!

 

 

 



After pictures they were getting restless from sitting in their stroller and wagons that we let them run around in the grass. They ran all over the place, some of the toddlers are getting pretty fast!

 

 

 

 

We love books and everyone has their favorites. We read lots and lots of books throughout the day and I will be purchasing more next month as well.

Summer Time Fun!

May I ask for some prayers for my Dad, he is having an emergency prostate surgery Friday morning and I am not able to get off of work. I would appreciate some prayers of a good outcome. Thanks!
 

 

The toddlers and two year olds and their swim day together because it was so hot outside! They actually stayed out of each other's ways. It was more the older two's helping the younger ones which was really cute to watch.

 

 

 

 

Summer Love...

 

 

We are working on the sign "At Work"; Hailey picked up on the sign for "work" in just one day. I am so proud of her! We work on this sign throughout the day. Come see me for the full sign if you would like to learn it.

 

 

We work on sign language throughout the day and at our group time in the mornings. Signing also helps them transition to the two year old classroom because Miss Beth does a lot of signing with her kids along with using the correct words.

 

These two keep me on my toes during the day...

Friday Fun!

 

 

This morning we got all sun screened up to go outside and play. I took one foot outside and brought them all back in to switch into their swimwear. Wow, what a hot and muggy day it was! They loved the water play as I'm sure it felt great, and we spent an hour outside playing. We also played so hard that at naptime they almost didn't even make it to their cots they all fell asleep and slept for almost 3 hours. We had to wake them all up so we could go eat our afternoon snack.

 

 

So glad we decided to do ice cream outside today. They were covered in chocolate and ice cream that we just rinsed them off in the swimming pools.

 

 

It's important that our toddlers drink water while playing outside. They love their water bottles!
