Learning about Red and Green

Just a little Creativity!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Some people ask me how do I get all my toddlers to sit so still at the table during art time. That's funny because when I say time for art they go and get their chairs to bring to the table. I love letting them explore and get messy and that is how they learn.
We have our advanced painters...
and our intermediate painters...
and lastly our beginner painters.

Exploring their first snow experience...
It only took me a grand of 30 minutes of getting everyone dressed for playing outside this afternoon, with the exceptional crying toddlers that fell down in the process of being bumped by others. Once we were outside they loved walking around, tasting the snow and exploring their new environment. Just a reminder please bring extra clothing and socks to store in your child's cubby. Also we recommend that you bring in two sets of mittens as they can find water just about anywhere.
Luckily for me I have a sweet boyfriend that takes the time to scrape my car from ice and snow!

Our Toddlers are as Sweet as Pie!
We have been talking a lot about pumpkin pie and other foods that we will be eating for Thanksgiving. Yesterday we made paper plate pumpkin pie, they had fun finger painting their plate with orange finger paints.
Gobble, Gobble say the Turkey!!!
Good News, Miss Jalesa is now in our room full time and did I mention she bakes really good too! :)
I feel as though it's been forever since I last posted... Don't worry I'm still blogging I take too many pictures not to! I have been busy babysitting but still on the lookout for a couple of weekends in December so if you are needing a sitter for Christmas shopping let me know. I do charge $12-15 an hour but I bring a lot of fun things in my bag for us to do!
Every year I take these adorable turkey hat pictures and every year I think they turn out better and better. Of course, some toddlers I take 20 pictures of them just to get that perfect one. If you can imagine that I have some tricks up my sleeve just to get that smile or convince them it's ok to wear the hat.
These are now posted on our classroom walls, come check out all of our Thanksgiving Day crafts we have up. I printed out cute greetings with their pictures last night that are now on our door. Feel free to take home your child's picture before Thanksgiving next week!
Lets not forget our outtakes part 1...
