We celebrated another birthday today!

It's not everyday you get to share your birthday with your brother, how cool is that! These boys are the sweetest!

I let James pick out the color of paint today we used for art. Since he picked green it was only right to make ninja turtles out of them.

This morning we all sang happy birthday to him and we opened up his present. I'm so glad he liked his bear, I think we at least read the book 5 times today if not more.

James brought in chocolate truffles to share for his party, his friends gobbled them right up. Of course the birthday boy gets 2!  Thanks James they were very yummy!

Teagan was so excited that we celebrated James birthday today because all day long all I heard was the birthday song over and over again. And lots of birthday kisses that James wasn't very fond of at the end of the day. You two make the cutest couple!

This afternoon we had fun with streamers, we made tunnels to go under  we unrolled and just made messes. Some of them were pretty wore out afterwards!

Overall James I hope you had a good birthday party at school. We had fun celebrating with you! I try and make birthdays a big deal even when they might not remember in years to come knowing that I could make just one day really special for them makes me smile!

Celebrating a 2nd Birthday!

Our silly birthday boy posing for a picture, Happy 2nd Birthday Kai!

What's a party without birthday hats, some weren't quite sure what to think about that. They got really excited when I told them we were going to go eat birthday cake!

Thanks Kai, for the yummy chocolate cupcakes. They were super excited and about knocked each other over getting out of the door. Can you tell we don't get sweets very often?! Lets just say most of them had a sponge bath after snack today.

After our little sugar rush we went back to the room and bopped around our punch bag balloons and went outside to run around. Hope you had a good birthday Kai and came in to celebrate with your friends. I can't believe your 2 already!

Bunny Preview Pictures!

We only like rainy days in the summer time, at least then we can go outside and splash in the puddles but when it's cold and rainy it's just no fun. Luckily we got to play in the gym with the big kid toys. We had fun today with the tool sets and putting our tools in our pockets. Your toddlers are ready for their next project at home!

This morning Miss Abbie did art with the Baby Bears. They loved every moment of it and had fun dabbing their papers and saying the word "dab" I love working with teachers like Miss Abbie that want to do fun engaging activities with the tots.

We learned a new word today, the word "hop" and talked about how bunnies hop. Ask your toddler what the bunny says!

So since Easter will be here before we know it, we decided to take some of our bunny pictures today. Here is just a preview of some that we took! It is always hard finding the best picture to use for their greeting cards. Let me know if you would like any extra pictures for your family, I can always print out another copy!

Friday Fun!

I try and do this activity about once a week because they love it so much, but lets just say even with three toddlers they still get messy! We used the twistable crayons and ultra washable markers because they wash right off.

This afternoon we decided to run on the grassy hills outside our playground. They worked really hard climbing up them so it was fun watching them going downwards.

My kids I've had are growing like weeds it seems like, oh how I miss them!

Ready for Spring!

Sorry, it's been awhile since I've last blogged I know you all like seeing the blog everyday. I've been a bit tad busy with some personal things but don't worry it's all good turnouts. We went for a walk this week thinking it would be nice to go outside and get some fresh air as you can see they are pretty bundled up still.

Last week Miss Beth made popcorn for her kids during their weekly theme "Circus" she invited us to come watch it the popcorn pop and sample some. The baby bears were very curious of the sound but a little timid.

We love this weather!!!

I'm so glad its so nice out to take the baby bears outside for long periods of time. We practically have spent almost an hour outside in the am and pm of the day. Yesterday it was so wet outside that I put snow pants and boots on everyone so they wouldn't get their clothes all dirty. Please leave boots and snow pants here till our playground dries up a bit. Thanks!

It's kind of funny last year's group of toddlers loved the transportation theme of "things that go! " This year the baby bears could really care less about playing with cars, I think they are more animal lovers instead! So this lesson plan this week has just been a fail but this activity they all seemed to have enjoyed!

This afternoon we had a lot of fun taking fun pictures. The baby bears had the cutest poses for us to capture and their little personalities were shinning through!
