We went outside this morning to collect pinecones to put in our basket, I was surprised at how many we got! They had fun trying to pick up as many as they could, and running all over the grass.
We settled down with some flashcard fun. I started off by showing them one card at a time to see if anyone could answer what it was, the older ones told me right away. The younger ones recognized the cards if I had a pair of two cards out they could hand me what I asked for. We do this twice a week instead of our morning story time.
