Oodles of Noodles!

This morning we played with cold wet noodles in the sensory tub. I knew this activity was going to be a messy one so I tried to contain all of them on the tile flooring, but some like to wonder around the room carrying their bowls of noodles.

I was surprised clean up wasn't as bad as I had imagined. My toddlers are really trying to help clean up lately and I think it has to do a lot like this book!

Oh, and lets not forget all the "growling" when we read it!

Getting dressed is always fun, they like to run off with pants, sock and trying on their friends shoes. I'm always trying t keep track of whose outfits are whose. So this little man decided he wanted to wear jeans today!

Exploring our pumpkin!

To my surprise the toddlers loved sensory time today, I was quite surprised at how many of them wanted to put their hands in the pumpkin and touch it. I encouraged them to stick their hands in the pumpkin to find the seeds so that we could place them in our jars.

This afternoon we took turns painting our pumpkin!

Finger painting with pumpkin!

Pumpkin finger painting was sure messy but the toddlers had fun during sensory time tasting it and painting the table with it. Only two out of the ten didn't want anything to do with it, but they had more fun watching instead. I think I cleaned up at least three of them about three times during the clean up process, can you guess who?!

So apparently when I put up a fabric sheet to get ready for pictures, they all go and sit down in front of it. Can you tell we take a lot of pictures?! I will have a new stack of pictures for November so remember to check your child's cubby next week!

It's Pumpkin Day!

Today we our decorated pumpkins, we explored stickers and I'm quite surprised at how many of the toddlers could do it and were quite fascinated by it. We then painted them blue and green that part was their favorite!

This grocery cart is a hot ticket toy right now in our classroom, we are currently learning on taking turns and using it to roll around different items in our classroom.

I love watching my toddlers play!

Fall Colors

Today we talked about fall colors I showed them that pumpkins are orange and we went and found  , yellow, green, and red leaves outside. We also showed the toddlers how to crush leaves in their hands and we collected the biggest leaves we could find to bring them back to our classroom. Please welcome Miss Jalesa to our classroom, I'm trying to get her in my room full time the toddlers just adore her!
