Easter Fun!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! We have been having fun this week doing Easter activities today we stamped eggs in paint and stamped with them. Although, we will no longer have eggs in our classroom some of the younger toddlers have been trying to wedge the eggs in their mouths. So we had to say good-bye to them after art time today. I will be replacing the sensory tub with some new items for the month of April. I can always use some Dollar Tree gift cards!

I just got this little bird on Amazon, it's our newest pet to our classroom it's motion sensory. It's clipped onto our window in our classroom. This has been helping during naptime to get them all calmed down I just say shh, where's the birdy he's trying to sleep. And eating our meals too it really comes in handy. Although I do have some toddlers that are a little hesitant about it.

This afternoon I let the older toddlers go next door to the bigger playground to use our gross motor skills by climbing up the wooden climber and going down the slides. We even took turns pushing the swing back and fourth.

Picture Overload!!!

Wow, sorry it's been so long since I last blogged crazy week of babysitting, company and engaging in my bible study class. Then of course my memory card was full, and I had to go out and buy another one for picture day!

I wish I could say everyone did really well for their pictures but then I'd be lying. They probably would have taken great photo's if we would have done it on time. However our pictures were pushed back till 11am, so we didn't get to have any gross motor time and we were cooped up in our classroom all morning with a lot of fussy toddlers. I think maybe 5 out of the 11 took good ones...

And then these were the looks I got after the pictures were completed!

After our naptime we all sat down for our afternoon snack and ate rainbow ice cream for St. Patrick's Day! Wow, I was surprised at how many liked the tangy sherbet.

Some updates...If you don't see your toddler's photo here please bring in one. Or send it to me and I'll print it off. We had to move our "Family Pictures" because we had some smaller friends trying to rip them off of our magnet board.

Beep! Beep!

We love going to the "big park" we walked around on the sidewalk. Miss Lisa pushed the stroller, Miss Debbie held hands with some of our two year Old's and I pulled the wagon. We took turns sitting in the rocking car.

I had to take some preview Spring pictures since it was so nice outside. I'll get some better ones next week some of the toddlers tantrums were beginning so these were pretty quick snaps.

Lets not forget, Easter is soon upon us I'll will be taking Bunny Pictures next week!

This afternoon we got out our sensory tub and filled it with soapy water, paint brushes, sponges and our toy cars. We gave our cars a good scrubbing!

Birthday Fun!

Today we celebrated James turning 2! He was so happy and funny today! We were lucky enough to spend about 2 hours outside today to play! We sang Happy Birthday to him throughout the day, ate yummy cookies and opened presents!

I tend to spoil my toddlers when it's their birthday!! It's fun watching them open up their presents tearing off each piece of paper oh so carefully, next year I'm sure they will have the full effect of ripping off the paper with such delight!

We had some extra space at our tables, so it was only fair that our favorite stuffed animals joined in on our birthday treat fun!
