Exploring Slime and Toddler Games!

Miss Beth got the consistency just right for the slime, she's a lot better at making it than I am and the toddlers had so much fun exploring it. They weren't even hesitant about touching it in which we were so happy for them! At first I saw them playing with it on the table and my first thought was oh gosh I hope it doesn't get on our new carpet which it really didn't and nothing a vacuum couldn't handle. It dried as soon as it was on their hands and the table. They loved it and we will be playing in this next month as well!

Next Week's Lesson Plan:

I bought some new bingo dabbers for our classroom. They are so good at making dots on their papers!

We had a water balloon toss in the grass this afternoon. Our game was balloon basketball which we brought out baskets for them to throw their balloons into. The fact the balloons weren't braking just bouncing we finally had to show them how to brake it on the grass. Mason, Teagan and Chance were content holding onto theirs. They didn't like it when theirs broke. Vinnie and Rolen and Lola got the concept of throwing them at Miss Beth and I and literally getting us soaking wet! And Talissa had fun trying to drop her balloon into the basket of water balloons.

We Love Summer!!!
