Fun Gross Motor Activities For Toddlers

Gross motor activities for toddlers are so very important! Please give them as many opportunities to move, jump, bounce, reach, throw, kick, climb, roll etc. as possible every day!

They NEED to move.
They NEED to develop the large muscles in their little bodies.
They NEED variety to make this happen!

We are getting ready for our fun Halloween crafts. Miss Molly and I are on the roll about making cute hand and footprint crafts with the toddlers. So your child might come home each night with their feet painted. We try and get most of the paint off but you all know how they squirm with us tickling their feet with our paint brushes.

We decided to take a walk but the grass was wet, so we took a walk around the big playground instead.

We love climbing next to the rocks and playing peek-a-boo, I just happened to get some really cute photo's of all of them!

This afternoon we had fun playing in the fall sensory tub. We dug with our shovels and found lots of spiders we also got to feel the soft spider web.

I'd have to say I think they had a pretty good time considering the clean up!

We love taking group photo's! They weren't quite sure about the tall bench though. Don't worry, Miss Molly was right next to them on the side in case we had any jumpers.

Our Cutest Moments:
